US Domestic Shipping

Shipping is available within the continental US only for herbaceous perennials. The woody plants are too large to be able to ship safely or economically. Those are limited to local pickup.

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate, and is charged by the box, regardless of what is inside. I generally ship most orders in the medium box, which in 2023 cost $17.10 to ship, in addition to the cost of plants in your order. There is a large box for larger orders (or larger plants) that shipped for $22.80 per box in 2023. Rates are determined by the US Postal Service and are subject to change. I will update as soon as I am made aware of any changes. Turnaround time averages between 2-4 days after I drop packages off at the Post Office, depending on destination address, with 2-3 days being the average in 2022 and 202.

International Shipping

I am unable to ship to addresses outside the continental US. My apologies.

Local Pickup

For orders bound for local destinations around the Salem and Portland areas, they can be picked up here in Salem to save on shipping fees. Please let me know if you wish to swing by to pick up your order, and we can arrange a day and time for pickup.

Mother Nature is unpredictable…much more these days than at any point in my memory, which is rapidly approaching a half-century. With that in mind, I am not able to tell her what to do with the weather, and cannot offer a warranty on plants lost to weather extremes. This includes drought, frost/freeze, flood, and severe weather events.

I do, however, warrant that all plants purchased from me are as named/labeled. If the unthinkable does happen and I do ship a wrong variety (doesn’t include freebies), please let me know as soon as possible, so we can work on sending the correct one, if it’s in stock, or refunding what you paid for the incorrect plant.
